With Italyummy we want to make you discover and bring to your house the Italian food and wine excellences of small shops and local businesses by focusing on products with a very short supply chain from all over Italy. On our website you will find both Italyummy brand products and products from other local businesses, almost exclusively family-run. Are my personal data safe? By entering your details on www.italyummy.com you are safe. Our site uses the advanced HTTPS (connection security) standards for navigation and data protection. For more details read our "Privacy Policy".
Do I have to be registered with Italyummy.com to place an order? To make purchases on Italyummy.com it is not necessary to register. Just do not enter a password and your date of birth during the checkout phase, although we always recommend to do so, in order to save you time for your future purchases.
I can't register or complete the purchase, what can I do? If you have difficulty browsing or making a purchase on the Online Store, we recommend that you update your browser (Google Chome, Mozilla, Internet Explorer, Safari, etc.) to the latest version available. Is there a minimum order with Italyummy.com? No, you can place orders of any amounts.
I have placed an order, how do I know if it is confirmed? Once the order is complete, you will receive confirmation of your order at the email address used during the purchase. In case you do not receive the email, check the Junk Mail or Spam folder of your mailbox and, if you are using a Gmail address, also check the Promotions folder. For more information contact us.
Can I cancel an order placed? Once an order has been completed and sent, it is no longer possible to cancel it. If you had any problems during the purchase please contact us and tell us what happened. We will do our best to answer you as soon as possible and to find a solution together.
Can I change my parcel delivery address? Once an order has been placed, it is no longer possible to change the shipping address. However, if you have not yet placed an order, you can correct or change your address at any time: you can do so in the personal area and from there you will have access to your personal data panel and you can change what you prefer. In any case, if the order is still in preparation, you can contact us and we will do everything to satisfy you.
What kind of payment method can I use on Italyummy? You can use Paypal and major credit cards (Visa, Visa Electron, Mastercard) or bank transfer at no additional cost. We support alternative payment methods such as Alipay, Google Pay, Apple Pay, Bancontact, EPS, Giropay, iDEAL, SOFORT, at no additional cost.

How does the payment by bank transfer work? If you choose to shop on Italyummy and decide to pay via bank transfer, remember to make the payment within 3 days from the date of the order. After this period, in the absence of a bank transfer, your order will be cancelled. Will an order summary containing the prices be included in my package? No, you will have the summary in your online account and in the package there will be no reference to the purchases made. This way, you can ship your orders as a "Gift" without having to worry about prices.
What are the processing times for an order? Once your order is confirmed, handling times are 1-2 working days. When the package is entrusted to the courier, the shipment will take about 1-2 working days for delivery in Italy and from 3 to 7 working days for delivery in Europe. For the Christmas period the times can be extended up to 3-5 working days for delivery in Italy. Italyummy is not responsible for any delays in transit during the shipping service. Transit times may vary, especially during holidays. Orders placed on weekends or holidays are prepared over the next business day. For some European countries, delivery times may be longer due to the completion of customs procedures. When the Express Courier has taken charge of your package, you will receive an email to the address you provided us with during the purchase. You can check the progress of the shipment by accessing the courier portal by clicking on the link of the email you will receive from the courier.
What are the shipping times for my package in Italy? Shipping times are generally 2-3 working days from the time of order confirmation, excluding periods of intense sales activity such as the Christmas period. Excluding weekends or bank holidays.
What courier do you use? We use Fedex and TNT.
How can I track my package? You will receive an email or an SMS (providing the mobile number) that will keep you updated on the progress of the delivery and a tracking number to be able to monitor the progress of the delivery from the website www.fedex.com or www.tnt.com under the section "Tracking"
What happens if Fedex cannot find me during the delivery? The courier makes three delivery attempts. We ask you to always enter your telephone number when registering on italyummy so that the courier can contact you if he does not find you. If you know in advance that you are not at home, you can also decide to have the delivery arrive at a Fedex Point closest to you and pick it up directly. If both are unsuccessful, the package will go into storage. At this point you will be contacted by us to arrange a delivery by appointment or collection at the branch of the courier closest to you. You will also be liable to pay the storage of the goods in Fedex Branchi after the 10th days.
What are the shipping times in Europe? Shipping times are generally 3 to 7 working days for Europe with the exception of periods of intense sales activity such as the Christmas period,calendar holidays or weekends.
What is a Fedex POINT? It is a physical store that has an agreement with Fedex and takes care of keeping your parcels for collection. They are located a few minutes walk from your address. If there are no ACCESS POINTS in the area, the courier will contact you to make a second delivery attempt.
Is it possible to have a package delivered to countries subject to customs duties? Yes, it is possible, but customs duties and charges are always paid by the buyer.
I have received a damaged or not ordered product: how can I return it or be refunded? We are very careful about the packaging and it is very rare that products are damaged during transport. If for some reason one or more items arrive damaged at your address, contact our customer service immediately at info@italyummy.com and explain the extent of the damage. In case of non-compliant goods, you may be asked to send us a photo with the description of the damage by e-mail. Our team will immediately evaluate whether to issue a refund or a replacement. Your orders are 100% guaranteed. Consider that you have 15 days to do this compared to 8 days in current legislation, so you can rest assured. Remember: we always recommend accepting the package sent to you with the words "accepted subject to control" when the courier deliver the parcel�. Without acceptance subject to control, it will not be possible in any way to proceed with the courier and we will therefore not be able to return the damaged goods or provide any refund for any damaged goods. I paid by credit card, can I receive a refund? Refunds can be sent via Paypal or bank transfer. As we do not have access to credit card information, we cannot issue refunds using this method. In this case, you will be asked for your bank or paypal data for any refund.
