ACACIA HONEY

FLAVOURS, TASTE AND COLOUR

The Italyummy Acacia Honey is a Raw Natural Tuscan honey with a light and elegant colour and a delicately floral and fruity smell. On the palate it is sweet with hints of vanilla and sugared coated almonds and it is a honey that does not alter the flavours of other components. As with all our honeys, this too is extracted without being pasteurized, heated or altered.

PAIRINGS

Defined by the experts as 'confetti' honey, it is good for sweetening many drinks including green tea and chamomile and also for candying fruit. It is a honey that can be very well paired with fresh herby cheeses and low-seasoned cheeses. Thanks to its characteristics it represents an excellent combination to enhance complex cheeses such as Roquefort, provolone, pecorino, goat cheese and gorgonzola. It is used as an ingredient in pastry doughs and as a leavening agent in bread making.
