Mediterranean Tuscan Wood Honey is a Raw Natural dark honey with different aromas ranging from herbaceous to caramelised, with even woody scents. Its flavor changes from year to year, while remaining, however, always linked to a certain aroma. The resulting blend is unmatched for its rich and spicy sent; if the honey is richer in Lavendula it will have a softer flavor and a balsamic aroma, if instead Heather or Thistle bushes predominates in the wild blooms, the flavor will be richer and the aroma more spicy. It is those "games" of nature that allow the consumer, every year, to have new aromas and new flavors. As with all our honeys, this too is extracted without being pasteurized, heated or altered.

PAIRINGS

Thanks to its characteristics, Mediterranean scrub honey is therefore incredibly multifaceted and versatile even in the kitchen. We recommend it to accompany fresh and soft cheeses such as Brie, to be associated with pear jam, an excellent combination with curry and balsamic vinegar to season grilled meat. It also goes well with medium-aged cheeses.
